Reed Mawhinney & Link recently was recognized as an Age- Friendly Certified Business by the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Age Friendly Lakeland. The Age-Friendly Business Program encourages local businesses to create spaces and services that are welcoming and accessible to people of all ages.
This recognition reflects something that has always been at the heart of our firm, treating every client with respect, patience, and care, no matter their age or ability.
To become certified, our firm completed a self-assessment and demonstrated our commitment in several key areas, including:
- Accessibility: Ensuring our office environment is safe, easy to navigate, and comfortable for all visitors.
- Communication: Making information clear and easy to read through print and online.
- Customer Service: Training our staff to be attentive, patient, and proactive when assisting clients who may need additional time or support.
As a law firm, many of the services we provide, estate planning, probate, trust administration, and real estate matters, are vital to older adults and their families.
These different practice areas can sometimes feel overwhelming, and our goal has always been to make the process as comfortable and approachable as possible for all of our clients.
Becoming an Age-Friendly Certified Business simply reflects our commitment to treat clients and their families with respect and dignity, all while providing the legal services they need.
