Anna Reed came to Florida in 2004 after a lifetime of living in and around the Chicago area. In Illinois, she worked 15 years in law firm administration, serving as a legal secretary and eventually a secretarial manager, supervising and managing more than 30 legal secretaries supporting over 100 attorneys in the corporate, estate planning and franchise practice areas of a large Chicago law firm. After meeting, and eventually marrying Andy Reed, she left family, friends and career and moved to Lakeland.
After some years of managing the family home and raising her two children, Evan (20) and Emma (17), Andy convinced her to come back to work and help develop what is now Reed Mawhinney & Link. With RML, Anna has served as a paralegal, and is currently supporting our employment law, litigation, probate and estate planning practice areas. Anna enjoys spinning with her friends at CYCLEdelic, helping her children as they transition to college and adulthood, serving as a subdeacon and member of the Alter Guild at All Saints Episcopal Church in Lakeland, and spending time with family and friends. Anna is a voracious reader and particularly loves mystery novels. Her ability to work with her husband every day is a testament to her patience, sense of humor and loving nature.
